5th Grade Went to Williamsburg

This field trip was really fun. I liked the bus ride most of all. Because everyone was moving around and going to different seats, we got to do whatever we wanted. But when we were at Williamsburg, my group was Cat, Macy, Katie, Hallie, Avery,and me:) I was so happy with my group. Especially Cat, she was so fun there.
I did not get any souvenirs at any of the gift shops and I regret that. I just got a soda that was $3.00. Stuff in Williamsburg is expensive.  While we were there we went to a wig shop. At the wig shop we learned that you have to cut your hair off to get a wig. I would not want to do that. But they also sew it onto your head.
We also played a game with sticks and hoops. What we did was a relay race. What you do is, you hit the hoop with the stick and you have to roll it across the ground. What was really cool was we got to see a bunch of pretty horses and we got to go into the House of Burgesses. When we went to the bakery it took forever to walk there. We took a break every 10 seconds!

My Thanksgiving Holiday by Joe

Here’s what I did during Thanksgiving break: I went down to see my 88-year-old grandmother in Williamsburg, had a great Thanksgiving dinner at the “Seafare”, had a huge breakfast of french toast, went to Colonial Williamsburg where I got flint and steel. My Thanksgiving break was awesome!
