Get Up and Move 2012! by Avery and Olivia

Today, our school is participating in a world wide get up and move day. The school will all do 60 seconds of different exercises in their classrooms. We met with Mr. Flowers and asked him a couple questions. Here they are.

Reporters: What is the purpose for doing these exercises?

Mr. Flowers: We want to be able to get students moving and not only that we are trying to accomplish a world record.

Reporters: How many students will be participating?

Mr. Flowers: Everyone in the school will be participating and many more schools.

Other news and information:
Virginia has 23,931 students that will be participating.  We hope everyone can come and enjoy our get up and move day!
